Croydon Box Park

Now open next to East Croydon Station is the amazing new dining and entertainment concept: BOXPARK.

It’s the world’s first pop-up food mall – fusing the concepts of the modern street food market and placing local and global brands side by side, to create a unique dining and entertainment destination entirely constructed out of refitted shipping containers.

There is something for everyone here so you are bound to find your favourite cuisine or even discover something new!

We are very well connected-

East Croydon Station is a busy transport hub. Trains run 24/7 into Central London and London Gatwick Airport.

London Victoria Station - 15 mins

London Bridge Station - 20 mins

London St. Pancras,  home of the Eurostar - 30 mins

There is also a large terminal for both bus and tram.

Museum of Croydon

"I wasn´t expecting much but the museum was a brilliant surprise. It´s laid out in a very modern, interactive way around touch screens that let you find out more and the context of each object.

Well decorated, a small museum but not a neglected, provincial one as I was expecting. Exhibits and lay out are to a high standard, and way better than some central London galleries. Loved the personal objects and social history behind them was fascinating" Trip Adviser.

Whitgift and Central shopping centre

Croydon's landmark shopping centre. A great mix of high street stores and independent shops which bring you a wide choice of goods to choose from. Soon to be demolished and replaced with a Westfield shopping center. Well worth a visit if you are planning on a shopping trip.

Southend- Restaurant Quarter

Offering something to suit every taste, it is only natural that South End should have been officially recognised as Croydon’s Restaurant Quarter.

An outstanding range of eating options includes two Michelin-rated restaurants and cuisine from around the globe, served up by chefs with an incredible passion for good food.

Builders Arms Pub

A great public house in the 'local pub' tradition and like a true local, it's just around the corner.

Serving a fine selection of Fullers ales and with a good menu of tasty food this is a great place for dinner or just a beer.

There is a wonderful beer garden to the rear and in the summer it's a real sun trap.

In the winter there is a welcoming real fire to keep you warm and cosy.

The Oval Tavern

One of Croydon's premier Live Music pubs and just a ten minute walk away - there seems to be something going on every night so check their website for latest listings. Food is great with a vegetarian bias and the real ale is excellent. In the summer their walled garden is an experience in itself.

Sunday lunch is served with live Jazz!

Thanhs Bistro

"A tiny elegant friendly restaurant in a most unexpected location. The food is authentic and delicious and we were helped with our choices by the owner who made suggestions that proved to be a delicious combination. We loved the food and the prices are more than reasonable for the quality and taste" A hidden gem!
